Dr. Roger Mixter, M.D, a board-certified plastic surgeon has been performing cosmetic surgery in Wisconsin for more than two years. Dr. Mixter, who graduated from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, is originally from Milwaukee. He received advanced training in facial reconstruction at the Australian craniofacial unit and finished residencies in general surgery and plastic surgery at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Mixter is an assistant professor at Marquette University and an Emeritus Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Wisconsin. He works for the American Board of Plastic Surgery as an examiner. Over fifty medical articles and book chapters have been written by Dr. Mixter in his academic medical practice. His specialty is cosmetic surgery, which includes abdominoplasty, liposuction, lip augmentation, breast reduction, eye lifts, face lifts, and numerous other cutting-edge laser and surgical techniques.
In an effort to combat childhood obesity in Milwaukee, Dr. Mixter is also actively involved in a partnership with the Milwaukee Boys and Girls Clubs and Youth Chef Academy that promotes healthy eating. For three years in a row, Castle Connolly has named him One of America’s Top Doctors.
